Product Merchandiser

You will work directly alongside the top performer at our company, in our #1 division by sales volume, and learn at their side. Your impact will help our business grow and you will promptly see the results of your efforts.

The role involves listing products and their variations within our internal databases. Initial tasks will involve cataloging products & multiple variations for wholesale distribution. In short order you will also be listing & optimizing products for sale in our database that are designated to be published to our eCommerce outlets, such as eBay, Amazon, and our own website.

The Product Merchandiser role at Alta Technologies will require ongoing upkeep of products and prices including researching internally and online, data entry, description content writing and/or re-writes, staff collaboration, as well as taking quick product images in a pro lightbox, and more.

Job Type: Full Time/Salary 36K-45K dependent on qualifications and experience

Required:

Adaptable to a Fast-Paced environment

Self-Motivated and Achievement oriented

Capable of quick and effective web research and computer use

Ability to type quickly and accurately when entering data

Strong memory for procedure and using proper product names & details

Able to work in a collaborative, team environment

Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly (for review and photos)

A sense of humor – we all work hard, but also enjoy our time together.

Comfortable using multiple programs / databases simultaneously

Ability to be forthright and courageous when prompting or asking product manager(s) for assistance with listing details, reports, stock levels, and/or pricing.

No prior knowledge of e-commerce nor sales is required, but some familiarity with computer hardware and/or product merchandising is a plus.
